Today marks the opening of registration for Stanford Medicine X, which brings together some of the nation’s most innovative and engaging minds in academia and industry to exchange bold new ideas about the future of medicine and the potential for information technologies to improve health.
The conference runs Sept. 27-29 and features presentations and panels covering a range of topics, including patient-centered design, participatory medicine, crowdfunding for health projects, the role of big data in advancing personalized medicine, and the impact of emerging technologies on biomedical research.
“Med X sets a high bar from a content and user experience perspective. The attention to detail is outstanding. The networking opportunities are excellent. The level of patient involvement was outstanding, novel and laudable. On balance, this is one of my favorite conferences of the year, hands down.”
