The Student Changemakers program is designed to equip young leaders with the social entrepreneurship and changemaker skills they need to overcome health challenges in their communities and worldwide. Over the course of 1.5 days, selected students will run through interactive workshops, exercises and challenges on changemaking, social entrepreneurship and community health engagement. This program is made possible through the support of Boehringer Ingelheim (BI) and Ashoka’s Youth Venture.
During the workshops, student teams will be given the opportunity to develop their health ventures with mentorship from experts at Stanford Medicine X.
By applying below, selected students will enter a global network of young changemakers and innovators for health.
Who YOU are:
- YOU are an undergraduate student between the ages of 17-23.
- YOU are a creative problem solver, looking to improve the health of your community.
- YOU are an agent of change, who does not just see problems around you, but opportunities for solutions and progress.
If eligible, leading student teams will have the opportunity to present their ideas to health experts, companies, and faculty at the Medicine X conference at Stanford University.
Winning teams may be given incremental seed funding to help launch their projects. Seed funding will be determined by the organizers and delivered based on a review of project milestones.
