Too many presentations are filled with slide after slide of bullet points. The speaker generally progresses from slide to slide, and sometimes simply read the bullet points. This is not an engaging way to present material and definitely not an effective way to inspire an audience. This workshop will discuss ways you can get rid of those bullet points and use only pictures and video to get your message across to a group of learners. Combined with the skill of storytelling, incorporating high quality pictures and video into your presentation will transform your presentation into a motivational and inspirational teaching tool. Learners will have a chance to take a poorly designed presentation, produce a transformative “make over” and share their work with the class. Learners are encouraged to take the Presentation 101 learning lab in advance of this workshop.
