Medical Education Resident Scholarship

Medicine X is proud to announce the launch of our new Medical Education Scholarship for current residents. The scholarship aims to encourage medical residents to engage with other stakeholders, including patients, educators, administrators, Deans, and program directors, to help steer the future of medical education to become more patient-centered, participatory, and patient-safety-focused. Scholarship recipients will be awarded a complimentary pass to the inaugural Medicine X | Ed conference this fall. Please note that travel funds are not available, and scholarship recipients will need to arrange for their own lodging and transportation to and from the conference.

Review

Scholarship applications will be reviewed by a distinguished jury of medical educators convened by Stanford Medicine X. Selection criteria will be based on a proven commitment to the mission of Medicine X | Ed, which focuses on the future of medical education in the new Millenium, the role technology and networked intelligence might play in driving educational innovation, the new challenges facing health care education, and how to change and improve the culture of medical education. The names of the judging panel will be announced in the near future. The jury will be led by Dr. Larry Chu, executive director of Stanford Medicine X.

How to Apply

Applications are open until 5pm PST on August 31st, 2015. The application is free, and any questions can be addressed to stanfordmedx@gmail.com
