Surgeon graduated from the Medical School of Medicine Tecnológico de Monterrey, also graduated from the Institute of Ophthalmology “Foundation Conde de Valenciana” UNAM, specialist in Ophthalmology and with subspecialty in Cornea and Refractive Surgery. He obtained the degree of Master in Arts in Medical Science at Boston University School of Medicine and winner of a scholarship in Cornea Research Fellowship, recently accepted in the Mexican Academy of Surgery. Currently: – Dean of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the Tecnológico de Monterrey. – Fellow of the Academia Mexicana de Cirugía Past Directive Positions: • Dean of the Health Science Division. • General Director for Health Quality and Education. Scientific Activity: He has published about 30 articles in indexed nationally and internationally, as well 50 abstracts of scientific papers.
