Medicine X 2012: The social media story
I first met the folks at Symplur in Paris France, at the fantastic Doctors 2.0 conference that is run by Denise Silber. According to their website, the firm’s mission is “connecting the dots in healthcare social media”.
I originally registered the #medx hashtag with Symplur last year as part of their Healthcare Hashtag project. The project aims to “to make the use of Twitter more accessible for providers and the healthcare community as a whole”. One of the advantages of having registered our conference hashtag with them last year is that it enabled the firm to track and analyze the conversations that occurred during our Medicine X 2012 conference.
I was delighted to learn that two of the firm’s founders, Mr. Audun Utengen and Mr. Thomas Lee have used their analyses to help tell the story of Medicine X 2012 as expressed through social media.
