You make decisions every day. Some are good; some are not as good. Did you know there is a science to decision making that can help people make better decisions more often? In collaboration with Eli Lilly, Medicine X will facilitate a half-day design workshop about improving decision making for patients and providers.
ANGIE FAGERLIN, PhD

Angie Fagerlin studied psychology and literature at Hope College and received her PhD in experimental (cognitive) psychology at Kent State University. Her primary research focus is testing methods for communicating the risks and benefits of treatment to patients, and testing the use of decision aids in clinical practice.

Katherine Rosback is a specialist in the areas of group decision-making facilitation and strategy planning and implementation. Her Advanced Facilitation Course has been taught throughout the U.S., Europe and China for over 15 years. Katherine has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.A. in Organizational Communication, both obtained through Purdue University.

Tyler Ludlow is a Senior Decision Scientist that has enjoyed helping people make better decisions for over a decade. He leads Lilly’s efforts to apply the company’s 25 years of experience in Decision Science in helping patients to make the best treatment decision possible. Sometimes he even gets to help his wife and their nine children with their decisions.
