Program Associate (Spring 2018)

Medicine X is currently seeking Program Associates to work full-time (temp/contract) now through the Spring to help with the Stanford Medicine X | ED (April 28-29) conference. Availability during the month leading up to the conference including the weekend of the conference is required.

We are looking for a motivated, organized, and well-communicated individuals who must be able to work well as a member of a team, effectively manage projects, and demonstrate a strong work ethic. Strong attention to detail is a must, and interest in health care is preferred.

We are especially seeking individuals with proficiency using:
– Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to assist with artistic and marketing materials for the conference
– WordPress, basic coding skills to assist with website backend for the conference
– Excel (basic equations and spreadsheets) to assist with calculations on conference registration income

General responsibilities for the conference assistants include, but are not limited to, event planning, writing emails and communicating with conference speakers and registrants, assisting with attendee registration, organizing conference packets, acquiring quotes from various vendors, and assisting with the general logistics for our conference in April.
