About Me

Ms. Mithila Kareti graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrative Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. She is involved in the daily operations of the Genomic Medicine Program (Million Veteran Program) and is the Project Manager for the new study: Implementation of Measurement Feedback System to Improve Veteran Behavioral Health Care – A Pilot Study. She plans to pursue medical school and combine both clinical practice and research. She aims to translate findings in fundamental research into medical practice and meaningful health outcomes. Her research interests include investigational new therapies for cardiometabolic diseases and utilizing big data science in biomedical research to enhance the understanding of disease onset and progression.
