Perry Gee has been a registered nurse for over 30 years and a clinical informatics specialist for the past two decades. He has PhD in Nursing Science and Health-care Leadership from the University of California, Davis, an MSN in Clinical Informatics from the University of Utah and a BSN from Montana State University. Perry is currently a Nurse Scientist for Dignity Health with a focus on research involving patient engagement, nurse resilience and human trafficking. His other current research interests are in the areas of consumer health informatics, e-patients, on-line health communities, and the use of eHealth technologies for chronic illness self-management support. Perry is also adjunct nursing or informatics faculty at the University of Utah, University of California-Davis, Arizona State University and the University of Kansas.
